July 19, 2008 Workout of the Day

Today was our first Saturday session. 8 people attended and I heard everyone had a great time. I appreciate everyone giving Mike a warm welcome. Congrats to Mark on a new PR. At least I believe it was a PR (personal record). Please correct me if I am wrong.

Workout: "Cindy" (max rounds in 20 min of...)
5 Pullups
10 Pushups
15 Squats

Great work by everyone on Saturday, and I hope you all got something out of it. By the amount of sweat and chalk left on the mats afterwards, I'd say you did.

Soundtrack by Jay-Z, TOOL, Johnny Cash, Rollins Band, Nine Inch Nails, and RHCP among others.

The workout for Saturday, July 26th will be:

"Barbara"

20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

5 rounds for time

It was definitely fun... AND for the 1st time ever in CrossFit, I experienced a warm-up! :)

Mike was really cool and a good supporter. I did 16 rounds, fun stuff but you get kinda dizzy lol
